Saint Francis in the Fields

Nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania, Somerset is an idyllic location. The fall season explodes in a vibrant array of colors. The winter season provides a perfect environment for skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and snow-shoeing. The Summer months can be spent hiking hundreds of miles in State and National Parks, world class trout fishing, kayaking, white water rafting, or even just enjoying an ice cream cone.

Who are we?

We are a community of people dedicated to caring for each other in light of the majesty and mercy of our Lord Jesus. Whether it’s an Easter egg hunt, or a free community dinner, St. Francis in the Fields is always a welcoming and friendly group of disciples.

  • Worship begins at 10am on Sundays, and make sure to stick around for coffee hour afterwards.

  • Yes! If you are unable to make it to church in person, you will be able to live-stream by emailing the church at stfrancis.somerset@gmail.com.

  • Our roots extend all the way to the Church of England. After the American war for independence, George Washington and others helped to found The Episcopal Church of America.
